MMAE068-940 is a 3D solid-state time-of-flight camera developed by Alpha Cen, based on MBS (Meta Beam Steerer) metasurface beam control. The product can control the beam of the light source through software without mechanical movement, enabling fixed-angle control and continuous or non-continuous beam scanning within the total FOV range. This product is based on the cwToF principle, with corresponding optical and electrical designs to achieve variable viewing angles for high-precision distance measurements. It supports Ethernet (100BASE-T) data communication and can output depth maps and infrared grayscale images.
The Meta Beam Steerer solution provided by Alpha Cen supports multiple beam control strategies fully defined by software, offering greater flexibility for different applications.

System power module. Receives external power, distributes power to internal system modules via various power conversion circuits.
Meta Beam Steerer
Meta Beam Steerer module. Receives phase-shift information from MCU and drives Meta Beam Steerer for beam steering.
TOF TX
TOF light source module. Receives control signals from the TOF sensor and outputs modulated light to the Meta Beam Steerer module.
TOF RX
TOF light sensing module. Measures target distance by detecting phase difference between received and transmitted light.
Central Control
Central control module. Manages power sequencing, receives depth information from the TOF sensor via TCMI interface, and communicates depth information to host system.
